Our newest operation is now running along the North Fork Payette River between Cascade and Smiths Ferry. This operation will be offering a shuttle service for rafters and kayakers with the convenience of parking in one location. Additionally, railroad enthusiasts can enjoy a relaxing roundtrip train ride through remote areas. More Information
Try your hand at sifting for mineral treasures. Purchase a mineral and gem bag of rough and head towards the sluice. Pour your bag of rough into a screen tray as water travels from a wooden water tower through a sluice washing away the dirt, slowly revealing gems and minerals. After you discover your gems and minerals, use the identification card to discover what you found. This activity is located when you depart the train at the Railroad station in Banks.
