Get everybody together for a relaxing, scenic train ride along the Payette River. The Thunder Mountain Line has great rates for both small and large groups. As your planning partner, we can take care of all the details so you can have fun with your group.

Our train is available for rental during the week and weekends. We can host groups up to 400 people during the summer months and 275 during the winter months.Your group would have access to all the enclosed and open air cars on the train, including the First Class Car. An additional VIP car, the TEXAN can be added to the train for an additional charge. Restrictions may occur during regular scheduled trips.

Individuals cars are availabe for renting for varying groups size. Our First Class Car can accomodate 56 dinner guests and featuring a full service cash bar. Our Standard Class Table Car can accomodated 72 guests and and our Standard Class Bar Car can accomodate 56 guests.

This exclusive caboose is designed for parties of 10 for birthday parties or family outtings. The interior features comfortable chairs, a private bar and personal attendant.

You and your friends are invited to spend the day or all night on the most luxurious private rail car in the State of Idaho. This car features a viewing platform, end car lounge, 4 rooms and a dining room.

We have a full list of menu options available to choose from our we can customize a menu for your group based on your budget. We can have your meal service on the train during trip or set up your meal under a covered pavilllion at our Banks Station. Regular and alcoholic drinks can be prepurchased for your group with a coupon program or we can have a cash bar open.

We can operate the train any day or any time in order to meet your groups time frame. Typical train rides are 3.0 to 3.5 hours roundtrip and can be longer depending on type of entertainment required and dinner theme choosen.

Whether you choose the scenery and river activities as your entertainment, we can offer your group several entertainment options. We have local musicians that can perform both on and off the train. We can also provides mor interactive options such as the Wild West Shoot Outs, Karoake or Mystery Theatre Themes.
